Iowa Aging Information System

The Iowa Aging Information System is a software system designed for the collection and reporting of aging program and financial data for the purposes of monitoring and analysis of program activity administered through the Iowa Department on Aging.

The Iowa Aging Program Reporting System [IAPRS] is a database application developed by the Iowa Department on Aging in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Information Technology Enterprise. Its primary purpose is for the collection and reporting of federal and state service/performance data and related program management information. This application will provide the capability for the Area Agency on Aging to collect service and performance data and to transmit it to the Iowa Department on Aging and provide a tool useful for the monitoring and analysis of area plan and program activity.

The Iowa Aging Financial Reporting System [IAFRS] is a database application developed by the Iowa Department on Aging in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Information Technology Enterprise. Its primary purpose is for the completion and submission of Area Agency on Aging area plan budgets and cumulative financial reporting data. It also facilitates the basic integration of financial and service unit data from the Iowa Aging Program Reporting System [IAPRS] useful for the monitoring and analysis of area plan activity.
